Our pre oxidized fibers are made by oxidizing carbon fiber precursor polypropylene nitrile (PAN). Pre oxidized fibers are thermally stable polyacrylonitrile (PAN) oxidized fibers that do not burn, melt, soften, or drip melt, making them very suitable for the processing of yarns, fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, and felt products. The LOI (Ultimate Oxygen Index) of the pre oxidized fibers we supply exceeds 40%, which is far superior to other organic fibers in this regard. The flame retardant grade is S-a. It can be used in fire protection fields such as fire blankets and thermal protective clothing.
